Hello Everyone! 

First and foremost, as we enter the final 48hrs of the campaign we want to thank everyone for their support, and for all the input you have shared with us. In consideration of your input we have been looking over the viability of releasing the vehicle from its position as Stretch Goal 2 to an add-on, and as cool as that might be, we have to consider all the costs in detail, and unfortunately we cannot see a way to make this a viable option.

As two small independents we have to make sure that what we set out to do can be done in a way that is as financially responsible as possible. We have learned the history lessons of other small developers who overreached, over promised and failed to fulfill their commitments, and subsequently disappointed their Backers. 

Yes, there are larger companies out there who can afford to give more perks during a campaign then we can, since they have the benefit of much deeper financial resources to draw from given their overall market positions. We, on the other hand, do what we can to make sure we manage our available resources to meet the requirements of the projects we undertake, so that as we grow we might have the resources someday to throw in that cool model here and there.

 ‘Gassy’ Gascoigne is convinced that the Zed virus is spread through the air and that it only activates when people die. To ward off the virus he wears his gas mask nearly all the time. Originally from Grand Rapids MI he began heading west after hearing one of the last official radio broadcasts telling survivors to head west to safety. 'Gassy' who has always been an A to B kind of guy, is heading west by literally travelling in a straight line across country. He avoids the freshly dead wherever possible and has learned the hard way to fear the living almost as much as the dead.

New Survivor Uber Deal Pledge Level

We are happy to announce the new "Survivor Uber Deal" Pledge level to this campaign. We have taken a look at your feedback and think we have put together a pledge level that addresses the feedback and helps to create a new value added pledge level for your consideration.  Those choosing to back at this level will receive all unlocked Stretch Goals at no additional charge.  We are also happy to announce that a bonus figure of Custom Survivor Pledge Backer will also be included.  The Backer has agreed that his figure can be released for general distribution in this campaign.  So while we have no renders to share with you of this figure at this time, we can say the survivor will be equipped with a crossbow as his primary weapon of choice. So take an opportunity and check out this new pledge level, and thank you all again for your support!

Backstory for Sgt. Steph Bennett

Sergeant Stephanie “Steph” Bennett managed to survive the initial days of the Raging due to luck, her stab proof vest and her trusty shotgun. After 3 days of intense fighting the government/policing structure broke down to point where the survivors were told to go home and protect their loved ones. Steph arrived home to see her house in flames but on the wall of the garage was a message from her husband. “Steph, gone west looking for safety, follow us if you can…” So she set off west in her trusty police car and when it finally ran out of petrol, she set out on foot… she dispenses justice as she goes all the while searching for her family.

From Skirmish OUTBREAK to Skirmish RAGERS

You may notice a change in the name of our Kickstarter and our key product Skirmish OUBREAK over the weekend. This is because we were threatened with legal action over the trademark of Skirmish OUTBREAK. Our legal team believed that the case was defendable but the cost to defend it would be high, prohibitively high.

So instead of proceeding with litigation we have decided to change the name of our product. Moving forward Skirmish OUTBREAK will be known as Skirmish RAGERS.

Nothing else has changed. The game is still the award winning game it was on Friday, it's just now called something different.
